Non-EASA foreign airlines who hold third country operator certificates must apply to have their current certificates replaced with a UK-issued one by 31 December 2022 to continue operating in the UK.

More information on how airlines can prepare to replace their certificates ahead of December 2022 and the assessment process can be found on our website here.

Carriers with an existing EASA TCO will be contacted directly with the application form with instructions on how and when to apply.  If you have not received such contact by 1 April 2022, write to

Note that you will still need to maintain an EASA TCO if you wish to continue commercial operations to EU and EFTA states.
